They are flexible white rods, sealed, approximately 43 mm long and 2.5 mm wide. Each implant contains a hormone called LEVONORGESTREL 75 mg that is released slowly and continuously for 4 years.

4 Recommendations

5 Side Effects
Absence of menstruation for a prolonged period may occur, which is normal. Heavy and frequent bleeding may also occur, as well as headaches, dizziness, and anxiety, which diminish over time. All of this is completely normal, treatable, and is not a reason for removal of the method.
