IPS AMBULATORIAS DE COLOMBIA is a company that has specialized personnel in handling the family planning program, placing greater emphasis on the insertion of the subdermal contraceptive method, female surgical sterilization (Tubectomy) and male sterilization (Vasectomy), working hand in hand with municipal institutions for induced demand and active search for the family planning program.
We guarantee in the population, especially those intervened with the subdermal method, the importance of adherence to it for at least two or three years depending on the implant. In addition, with the methodology of workshops and training developed by suitable personnel, important topics such as safe sexuality and protection against sexually transmitted diseases like HIV are handled.
Due to being enabled in the modality of health brigade or extramural days, our IPS can develop the method implantation program not only at the level of the city of Medellín, but also in other Municipalities without increasing the cost of implantation.
Our guarantee is based on monitoring, traceability, and timely intervention of adverse events and working on adherence to subdermal methods, to achieve a real decrease in the birth rate in young women and the average parity in the population to be intervened.

Experience
IPS AMBULATORIAS DE COLOMBIA and its brand EXPERTA IPS worked from 2009 to 2013 with insurers of the Subsidized and Contributory Regime in Health in the Department of Antioquia applying more than 13,000 Jadelles, 3,800 female surgical sterilizations, and 200 male surgical sterilizations.
